Dr. Iida was born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1985. Dr. Iida graduated from Chiba University School of Medicine and earned an MD degree in 2009. Dr. Iida was appointed to CiRC2LE, Fukushima Medical University as a clinical research fellow in April 2014. In the same year, he entered the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University and obtained a Master of Public Health degree in 2016. Thereafter, he worked at Yu Home Clinic and engaged in home medical care in Ishinomaki and the Tokyo area. He earned a PhD degree from Graduate School of Medicine, Fukushima Medical University (Department of Clinical Epidemiology) in March 2023. In April 2023, he was appointed as a specially appointed lecturer at Chiba University, where he engages in general medicine and home medical care, and conducts research on home medical care and community-based interventional research.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve had a connection to Fukushima for a long time. I used to go skiing when I was in elementary school and visited Fukushima for golf competitions when I was in medical school. I decided to be a Fukushima Fellow because I wanted to be able to view &#8220;clinical&#8221; from a different perspective after participating in a short seminar on clinical research (Terakoya).
