He graduated from Osaka University and earned a MD degree in 2007.<br \/>\nDr. Niihata was appointed to CiRC2LE, Fukushima Medical University as a clinical research fellow in April 2014. In the same year, he learned the Master of Clinical Research program at School of Public Health in the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. Additionally, he completed the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research course provided by Harvard School of Public Health in 2015. He completed the fellowship in March 2017.
