He graduated from Showa University and earned an MD degree in 2005. Dr. Nishiwaki was appointed to the CiRC2LE, Fukushima Medical University, as a clinical research fellow in April 2014. In the same year, he entered Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University and obtained a Master of Public Health degree in 2016. Additionally, he completed the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research course provided by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2015.
