Dr. Ito was awarded the PhD in medicine. Using his clinical experience as an anesthesiologist and emergency physician, Dr. Ito has shown in his research that serious traffic injuries, such as fractures, may be two to three times more likely to occur in traffic accidents among passengers with cars without bonnets.
