Higher levels of experience with patient-centered care are associated with greater likelihood of advance care planning discussions in home medical settings? The second paper of the ZEVIOUS Study (Zaitaku Evaluative Initiatives and Outcome Study), which addressed this clinical question, has been published from Family Practice.
Dr. Shin-u Hayashi from Tetsuyu-kai was the first author of the study, and this was the result of the collaboration of the supervisor, Dr. Hidekazu Iida, a graduate research student, Dr. Yukio Tsugihashi, a visiting lecturer, Dr. Yutaka Shirahige and Dr. Masakazu Yasunaka from Dr. Net Nagasaki, and many other physicians who worked together.
